Christmas Memory Game
Christmas Memory Game
Get 10 to 20 small Christmas items and place on a tray the more the merrier.
Examples: stocking, ornament, Christmas cookie, Christmas light, wrapping paper, candle, Christmas movie, nutcracker, etc… Set the tray down or walk around with the tray and allow people to study it. Then take the tray out of the room. Now give everyone a piece of paper and a pencil and have them write down as many of the items as they can remember. The one with the most correct items written down wins. Fun Twist: After removing the tray from the room, come back and tell them you are going to play a memory game. (They will think it is the tray items.) Instead tell them we are going to see if you can identify the 12 days of Christmas items. Then one by one ask guests (Joe – What was the 2nd day of Christmas, Alice the 4th day was???) to provide the answers. Then after you do those get out the pen and paper and challenge them to remember the items on the tray!
Thanks, Cathy
